Major names such as Coca Cola, IBM, General Electric, and Texaco appear among the active issues with fluctuating Last and Change figures amid market-wide volume around 13.13 million shares.
The Arizona Bank announces George T. Adams as assistant vice president and manager and William Kaylor as vice president. Adams, Adams previously managed the Lincoln-Scottsdale office. Kaylor was in BankAmericaid. Dellerba named loan officer at First National Bank of Arizona 44th Street office. Murray F. Wilson joins United Bank as senior vice president and trust officer. SBA program dinner for Metro Lions Club in Phoenix features Stan Goldberg speaking at Denny's Restaurant Dunlap and Black Canyon at 7 p.m.
House Democratic Leader Craig Davids challenged Phoenix 40 claims of influence in passing a bill opening blind trusts to law enforcement agencies. A Phoenix 40 spokesman said the group had no position on blind trusts, drawing jeers from party leaders and a sharp exchange over credit for the anti crime measure.
