Two Boys Killed In Auto Crash
Rudolph Carraro aged 19 of 102 Lee avenue Scarsdale and Timothy Kotsay 17 of 822 Post road Eastchester died Saturday noon when their Lincoln touring car struck a curb near Huntington avenue and Oxford road, crossed the street and hit a telephone pole. Carraro, believed driver, died en route to White Plains Hospital. Kotsay died instantly. Both worked for Cadillac Motor Company in White Plains as mechanics helpers. Rudolph Carraro survived by parents Mr and Mrs John Carraro and brother Andrew, and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and Waverly High School before taking night classes in NYC.

Class Day Program At School Grounds
Graduation festivities for the senior class at the High School will culminate a week from tonight with the commencement exercises at 8 15 oclock. Dr Samuel W Grafflin of the West Side Y M C A in New York will address the graduating class and Ralph Underhill superintendent of the Scarsdale school system will present the diplomas. The commencement exercises will be followed by a dance in the gymnasium. Class Day was observed at the High School Tuesday afternoon this week.

Local Troops Tie For First At Spring Scout Rally
Scarsdale Troops 4 and 7 shared top honors with 12 points each in the Feni more Cooper Council spring rally held Saturday at the Hebrew Sheltering Guardian Society School in Pleasantville. White Plains Troop 18 finished second and Scarsdale Troop 3 third with six points. Other placers included Troop 20 of White Plains five points, Troop 1 of Chappaqua three points, Troop 1 of Mount Kisco one point, Troop 2 of Pleasantville one point, and Troop 6 of White Plains one point.

Village cuts water rates by thirty cents for Scarsdale
Scarsdale residents will save about $11,000 this year as the Village Board reduces water rates across all tiers. The new scale starts August 1, 1928, with 2.50 per thousand for under 10,000 cf, 2.30 for 10,000 to 100,000 cf, 2.00 for 100,000 to 200,000 cf, and 1.70 for over 200,000 cf. The change follows a committee review and a future lower municipal water purchase price.

Greenburgh weighs new school site vote on Fort Hill road
