Mrs Ford Robbed at Sea on Bermuda Steamer
Mrs H S Ford aboard the steamer Trinidad to Bermuda woke to a burglar in her state room. The thief also robbed Mrs Ford’s maid and fled via a skylight. The captain marshaled the crew as Mrs Ford identified the man, who was arrested and jailed in Hamilton Bermuda. A prior Bermuda–New York voyage saw other passengers robbed and a large reward offered.
Youngster Fractures Leg In Wagon Accident At Upper Tuckahoe
Master John Stewart of Upper Tuckahoe slipped while climbing a wagon on December 31 and struck a wheel breaking his leg above the knee. He is at St Joseph's Hospital Yonkers and is doing well though homecoming is 5 to 6 weeks away.
