Water transfers unlikely to be feasible says official

Rescue At Beach Drowning Attempt Brings Police and Fire Response
Police and fire crews responded to a reported drowning at City Beach Thursday afternoon. A 19 year old woman from Puyallup was pulled from the lake near 2:45 p.m. she regan consciousness and was taken to Bonner General Hospital in good condition. A three hour search ended with the two year old found with a friend of the woman. The case is with the Department of Health and Welfare.

Driver cited after pickup rolls on Dufort Road
Richard Kaier twenty six of Coeur d'Alene charged with driving while intoxicated after his 1957 Chevrolet pickup left Dufort Road east of Priest River and rolled onto its left side. He was uninjured and taken to Bonner County Jail. Damage to the truck estimated at six hundred dollars.
