Officers Warned Of AIM Move Toward North Dakota
Law enforcement was alerted to watch for occupants of two cars heading to North Dakota to “do away with some people.” The group is linked to the American Indian Movement AIM, connected to the Wounded Knee occupation. One car a light tan Pontiac station wagon with Washington plate UAV 385 was named. the second car unnamed. They reportedly carried dynamite, ammunition, and guns.

Missoula Montana report shows 16 National Forests in the Northern Region earned $34,081,012.90 in FY1974 down from $38,251,459.51. Blanchard Civic Leader Claude Blanchard Dies at 69
Claude Blanchard former Blanchard Trading Co. owner and postmaster in Blanchard Idaho died at his home aged 69. He led local Lions Club and Grange chapters and contributed to community life. His hometown earned its name from his grandfather, an early settler.
