Idaho to Build Four Power Plants Over 25 Years
A Water Resource Board report says Idaho will need four nuclear or coal plants within 25 years and up to 13 plants by 2070. Idaho Power plans two 1500 megawatt coal plants in southern Idaho, with possible nuclear input. Washington Water Power projects several coal units and large capacity growth between 1980 and 2029.
