Kissinger says Vietnam peace near with cease fire and troop withdrawal

Five Insurance Firms Sue Lewiston Over Fire Losses

Five insurers file a federal suit against the city of Lewiston claiming the fire department failed to extinguish a smoke shop fire, allowing the blaze to re flare and damage six downtown businesses. Bunker Hill Air Quality Plan Approved in Kellogg

The Idaho Board of Environmental Protection and Health approved an air quality plan for the Bunker Hill smelter complex in Kellogg. It requires removal of 85 percent of sulfur dioxide emissions by 1975, with the measure set at the board's quarterly meeting.

Birthday triplets bring joy for Newport mother

Mrs. Chester Donohoe of Newport Washington gave birth to triplet girls on her 40th birthday at Spokane Valley General Hospital. Each baby weighed about 50 pounds at birth and were reported in good health. The couple has five other children and x rays in July showed three images. Hospital officials noted the event amid other state EPA related actions.
