Glenn E. cone Bee reports Bandelin was honored at the Montana Associated Utilities annual meeting in Missoula. He served as attorney for Northern Lights during Rural Electrification Act implementation. The system grew to a 7.5 million dollar plant serving 20 000 residents across Idaho Montana and Washington. Nordeen noted his long service among rural electric cooperatives. Attendees included Jesse W. Lee Carl Wommack D Floyd Naegeli and George Hays.

Traffic Death Toll Rises in Idaho Crash Near Nampa
Timothy Jewett, 10, of Nampa, died in a Boise hospital from traffic injuries after a two car crash near Nampa on Monday. Grandmother Chrissie Tullis, 62, of Marsing, also died, and a brother and sister were injured as state toll climbs to 267 for the year.

The Idaho Land Office announces two salvage timber sales in the Priest Lake area in November. On November 17, 200 cords of cedar from Trapper Peak burn area will be offered at 3.00 per cord for salvage and 6.00 per thousand for sawlogs, with products may be manufactured on site or removed raw. On November 24, 275000 board feet of burned timber near Keokee Creek will be sold at 4976.25 total, trees marked for cutting. Both sales occur at the Public Lands office in Cavanaugh Bay near Colutin. Proceeds fund state institutional endowments.
