Work Underway on Storm Sewer Project
Public Works crews begin a HUD funded storm sewer project in the northwest, with 4040 feet of 24 inch pipe to be installed before winter. The US grant of about 173000 delayed work until receipt while materials were ready. A seven man crew was hired and a second five man crew will start, using two backhoes and a crane. The line runs from Walnut to Division then along the north of New Farm in School toward the railroad and Chuck Slough.

Two Injured In Dufort Road Car Crash In Idaho
Idaho State Police released details of a two car crash on Dufort Road six miles from U S 95 Sunday around 4 20 p m. Elmer Plumb and Virginia Overland collided injuring Deborah and Jody Plumb who were taken to Bonner General Hospital and then to Valley General in Spokane. Virginia Overland and Maria Overland were treated. Overland was cited for failure to yield.
