Probert Faces Added Charges In August Thefts
Frank Lee Probert of Dillon Montana faces new charges after an August break in at the Big Pink and thefts from Alpine Motors Crosswhite used car lot and Dub's Drive In. Two juveniles are also charged in related Alpine thefts. The pair were released to parents on promise to appear. Total recovered during the investigation was 2065 dollars.

Burglary Recovery Rate Increases in Sandpoint
Sandpoint Police Chief Dick Abbott reports a 36 percent rise in burglary recovery for January through September 1975. Recovery reached 59 percent with $20,709 recovered from $35,500 stolen, while 206 burglaries were reported this year versus 255 in all of 1974.

Corps Authority Draws Complaints At Public Meet
About 200 people attended a public meeting on expanded Army Corps permit authority. Col. Raymond J. Energh faced protests over federal controls and delays while the second phase of regulations for dredge or fill discharges was discussed.
