Fatal Highway 95 bridge crash near Naples tolls one dead
A four car and one truck crash on a Highway 95 bridge near Naples killed Herman P. Krogseth and injured several others including Rose Krogseth and two daughters Ann and Linda. Connie Wood was the eighth victim later discharged from Boundary Community Hospital. Glare ice on the bridge caused the accident. investigators noted a slow moving 1963 station wagon and subsequent multi vehicle collision involving Kingsley Pacific Ltd. vehicle. James E. Brett of Seattle sustained severe chest injuries while five others escaped injury.

Arthur Schimmel, 24, of Clark Fork, Montana, was fined on three charges in Thompson Falls. He paid 159 dollars for swearing a false statement and 50 dollars for shooting from a public highway, with 16 month license revocations on each. In a second case, Justice Davis fined him 28.50 dollars for hunting on private property without permission.
