Private Road Plan Delayed At Bonner County Meet
Bonner County Planning Commission delayed approval of the San Soucie development near Blanchard after a two hour session. Developer Gordon Dolan plans to spend over 1 million dollars on about 125 lots around a man made lake with a golf course and airstrip. Residents protested the private road system and concern over public services and water supply for nearby properties. The board also approved a preliminary ski chalet plat for 16 lots near Sandpoint, part of a 40 lot project.
