Auto Theft Suspects Apprehended in Sandpoint
Sandpoint police and Bonner County Deputies arrested two 25 year old California men after a stolen 1967 Volkswagen was reported on Grouse Creek Road. Weight was captured near Farm to Market Road and Reid near Hope. Weight held on 5000 dollar bond. Reid on 2500 dollar bond for grand larceny and auto theft.

New Sandpoint Police Chief Named in Elimination Process
Richard Abbott, 33, of Riverside California, told the Daily Bee he will be in Sandpoint before December 15 and that mayor Les Brown informed him of the decision by phone.
