The Priest River High School Band and Choir directed by Rad Christiansen present the fall concert on Thursday at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The program mixes popular and traditional music with a Scott Joplin ragtime piece for the band and an electric piano driven choir number. Admission is 1 for adults and 75 cents for students. proceeds fund a Montana trip and future music programs. Hunter Found Safe After Two-County Search
A 22 year old Coeur d Alene hunter missing since Sunday in the Granite Lake Kelso Lake area was located safe. He had separated from his brother Gary Young near Hwy 95 and spent the night in a shack near Beaver Lake Meadow. He was in good condition.

Dozens of Dogs Seized in Bonner County Abuse Case
Bonner County Sheriff deputies seized forty five dogs of various breeds from Laura Wilson's Colburn residence after citizen complaints. Deputies with vet Jerry Lewis and others entered under a search warrant issued by District Judge Don Swanstrom. Dogs reportedly found in cages and pens throughout the property with many at large before transfer to the city dog pound.
