County Aims to End Memorial Field Lease in Sandpoint
Bonner County seeks termination of its lease on Memorial Field in Sandpoint to shed liability from the baseball and football complex. Two Phillips Brothers Extradited on California Murder Warrant
Larry and Leroy Phillips were extradited from the Priest River area to Mendocino County California police after being arrested on a California murder warrant. Sheriff Robert Wilcox said agents picked them up around 8:30 a.m. today. The brothers and three others face charges in the January 1973 rape murder of an 18 year old Willits woman whose car was forced off a road and whose body was discovered days later.
