Idaho Panhandle water plan faces low responses
Boise UPI reports Idaho's Department of Water Resources notes a dismal turnout for the state water plan questionnaire in the Panhandle. Department planner Jim Wrigley said 29 responses out of 46,000 were received, with the questionnaire mailed to nearly every home this month and only about half of one percent returned.

Campground Fees Set for Northern Regional Forests
The Forest Service will charge daily fees this summer at 74 campgrounds across Northern Regional National Forests including five in Kanisksu. Fees range from 2 to 3 dollars per day with senior citizens 62 and older paying half. Opening dates vary and picnic areas remain free. signs will mark charge areas.
