Burglary Pair Arrested After Georgia Pacific Break-In
Two men Rodney Little and Leonard Bromley were arrested after a Georgia Pacific break-in on Boyer Avenue in Sandpoint. They were jailed on burglary charges with bonds set at 5000 dollars and await trial for the Pend Oreille Sport Shop robbery. Del's Shoe Shop and Pend Oreille Sport Shop connections are under investigation.

Sandpoint Elks Announce Youth Leadership and Scholarship Winners
The Sandpoint Elks Lodge 1376 named winners in its Youth Leadership and Scholarship contests. Denise LaRae Phillips of Clark Fork won the girls scholarship, with Nancy Lou Allured of Bonners Ferry second and Linda Thelma Finney of Sandpoint third. Theodore Hadley of Sandpoint won the boys scholarship, Hollice Gordon Smith of Bonners Ferry second, Samuel Royle of Sandpoint third. Two Sandpoint high students won in Youth Leadership, Miss Leslie JoAnn Patterson and Allen Kent Lyons. Honorables went to several Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Priest River students. Exalted Ruler Bobby Moore thanked participants. George Pinsonneault chaired the 1969-70 committee.
