Arsonists Hit Rogers Field At Washington State
Early today a fire at Rogers Field on the Washington State University campus was quickly controlled with minor damage after fuel cans and rags were found. Officials said the blaze, likely arson, damaged about 40 seats in the northeast section and followed an April 4 attack that destroyed the press box and 10,000 seats. Campus police say the two incidents may be related and are investigating.

Horsemen Propose Conversion of Fair Livestock Building

Miss Tatterson Earns Elks Award at Sandpoint High School
Leslie Joan Tatterson, senior in Sandpoint High School’s 1970 class, won the Elks Youth Leadership First Place Award for Bonner County during Class Day exercises. She also received the American Legion Good Citizen Award and the Senior High School Teacher Education Scholarship. Tatterson, a Leohono Society member and 1969 70 school mascot, was Syringa Girls State alternate and yearbook editor, named senior with most school spirit.
