Police Accident Breaks Windows in Freak Morning Incident
A Sand point Police Officer on desk duty accidentally discharged his revolver at 4:30 a.m. The bullet pierced the Police Department window on 2nd Ave and lodged in a Lou's Auto Parts display seven feet high. No injuries were reported. the officer agreed to pay for the glass. The gun was reportedly being cleaned when reloaded by a partner, leading to the accidental discharge. In a separate note from SHEERWATER England a gas board crew caused a hole in a wall, flooding the home, with carpets removed by garbage collectors.
