Four Die in Great Falls Train Wreck Afterhead-On Collision
Burlington Northern crews removed bodies from the wreckage north of Great Falls Montana after a head-on crash between two freight trains. Victims were engineer Paul Hartman fireman Ginnaro Torchia and fireman James Vernon junior and brakeman Norval McGregor all from Great Falls. Two others were severely injured. Officials cited unclear cause and a 60 mph collision. About 150 onlookers watched as 11 derailed cars were spread across the site.
