Albeni Falls project spokesman releases first weekly lake elevation report noting Lake Pend Oreille at about 2059 feet a four foot rise since May 1. Inflow rose from 43 000 to 96 000 CFS while outflow climbed from 49 000 to 74 000 CFS. Spillway gates opened May 6 and powerhouse halted generation due to headwater tailwater balance. Project engineer expects about a half foot daily rise in days ahead with inflow above average. maximum elevation likely between 2062 and 2063 feet but regulated to 2062 to 2062.5 feet.
