Fire destroys mill on Kootenai Cut-Off Road
The shake mill owned by Dave Lewis on the Kootenai Cut-Off Road burned Friday afternoon. Bob Lyons of the Northside Fire Association said the fire started from a burner beneath the mill floor. The mill was beyond saving within ten minutes and completely destroyed within twenty. Firefighters saved about $1,000 in shake bolts.
