An 18 year old Sandpoint High junior Terry Allen helped rescue two men and a girl stranded in the Pend Oreille River amid late evening cold. He jumped from a lawn job to row a canoe to shore with assistance from Pack River Lumber Company workers. The three were cold but unharmed. identities were not released. Malpractice Help Offered in Idaho Crisis

Police Solve Another Burglary in Sandpoint
Sandpoint police report solving the April 11 burglary at Stidwell Junior High School. Detectives say two 15 year old juveniles will be petitioned into court on first degree burglary charges. Authorities recovered three light sets and three four foot growing lights. Police have solved about 18 burglary and grand theft cases in the past two months.
