Lake Pend Oreille reaches 2054 feet ahead of fishing season
The Lake Pend Oreille water level rose to 2054 feet, target for opening day of general fishing on Saturday. Ken Coffman of the Albeni Falls Project said the level was reached Tuesday and will be held within a half foot, with possible free flow once it hits 2056 feet. He added rising warmth could finish the high-water concern in about three weeks.
