Nixon plans board changes after labor resignations
President Nixon has decided how the Pay Board will proceed following the resignations of George Meany and two AFL CIO officials from the five member labor delegation. The White House says the walkout will not derail the anti inflation program and scheduled a meeting with the Cost of Living Council to outline the new board composition. Meany called the administration policies disastrous as prices rose 0.5 percent in February.
