Boise motorists with plates ending in 3 and a 1970 validation sticker must re license by March end. Division Director Jack Farley notes some plates ending in 3 4 or 5 were issued when vehicles were first licensed last year with pro rated stickers expiring in March April or May accordingly. Plates ending in 4 must renew by end of April and those ending in 5 by end of May.
North Idaho Junior College in Coeur d Alene announced first semester Dean's List honorees. Students with 3.5 to 4.0 GPA include Larry Van Rossum and Joseph Miller of Sandpoint and Wayne Kedish of Priest River. Others with 3.0 to 3.5 GPA are Mary Fuller Kay Kincaid Vivian Russell of Sandpoint and Kathleen Butler of Hope.
Farley announced new validation stickers valid for 12 months. Idaho law requires vehicle licenses to be issued in the county of residence and county assessors cannot issue licenses to non residents. Weather notes: partly cloudy through Wednesday with scattered afternoon showers, 40 percent today, 30 percent tonight, 10 percent Wednesday, highs 45, lows 20.
The Board of Trustees for School District No. 82 sets April 14 as election day to fill two three year seats from Zones 2 and 4. Incumbents Dr J P Munson and Dr William Morton seek re election, unopposed, with polling at three Sandpoint and one Laclede locations.
