Chapter Five PEO elected and installed officers for 1971 at a March 2 meeting at Mrs. Jack Parker’s home. Officers include President D. H. Dalley and Vice President Hardy Lyons. Delegates to the Boise State Convention in May were Dalley and Davis.

Sandpoint Jaycees regular meeting at Pastime Banquet Room 8 PM for men 21 36. T O P S Club 7 15 PM at Washington Water Power building. Torch Club 7 PM March 10 with Gerrie Soulz on handicapped children program. plus several other club meetings through March 12 at various venues.
The Sandpoint Civic Club met March 1 at Community Hall with Mrs. Gordon Cordes presiding. The group announced art contest judging for Bonner County and a district convention in Sandpoint March 30 with speakers on health, environment, and forestry. Volunteers are sought for the Sandpoint Float and the club slated its 1971-72 officers.
The Bonner County School Art Contest will be held March 13 in the Junior High School Gym from 1 to 4 p.m. Judging by Bonners Ferry Art Club members in the morning. Sixteen winners advance to District 3 on March 30 and State in May. Sandpoint Civic Club sponsors the event and presents prizes and certificates to local winners.
Saturday's card party crowned winners including Ladies high Rhenama Varney and dna McArthur, men's high Jim Heigh and Floyd Skeel, traveling prize Berit Forme, door prize Mabel Solberg, cake Irene Blaine. Next party April 3 at 7 30 p.m. at the post home.
