New Cash Boy Named John Carter Cash Born Near Nashville
Johnny Cash and June Carter welcomed their first child a seven pound ten ounce boy named John Carter Cash shortly after noon Tuesday at suburban Madison Hospital. Cash and Carter are married since March 1, 1968 with two prior spouses each. The couple’s infant and mother are reported in good condition by sister Reba Hancock.

Those unpaid for their fat stock act cannot weigh-in.

The Panhandle Beef Breeders reported the best sale in its history last Saturday with fifteen bulls selling at an average of 557 dollars and heifers averaging 282. The top bull MB Spider King sold for 1275 dollars to Mrs. Jackie Hepple. Champion Selkirk Gov. Lad H3 bought by Harold Anselmo and Sons for 800 dollars. Canadian buyers participated for the first time.
