Fund Drives For Library Mimeograph And Copy Machine
The Washington School PTA leads a drive to buy a mimeograph for public free use at the Sandpoint Public Library and to fund a dry photocopier. Local groups and individuals may donate by mail or in person. access hours are 1 to 9 Monday through Thursday and 1 to 5 Friday and Saturday. Donors include the Washington School PTA, Farmin School PTA, Sandpoint Civic Club, Lions Club, and Women of the Moose.

Snowpack Depths Fall Short of Normal at Schweitzer Basin
Snow depths and water content on Schweitzer Basin snow courses remain below average as of February 27. At 6100 feet, snow averages 96 inches with 33.5 inches water, the lowest in seven years. at 4500 feet, 79 inches of snow with 25.7 inches water. Water content rose 9.3 inches and 4.7 inches respectively in February. March is expected to bring increases under normal conditions.
