Police search for a about five feet fiveinch, 130 pound youth with black hair who tried to enter a second story apartment at 3 15 p m after pulling a knife on a 21 year old housewife. The woman pushed him back and he fled on a yellow ten speed bicycle.
The Panhandle Health District will begin a summer Shoreline Survey from Garfield Bay to U S Highway 95 and extend over two years to cover Moyie River areas Pend Oreille Lake shores and Priest River. It focuses on individual sewage and water systems and seeks homeowner cooperation. A public hearing at 7 30 p m at Cocolalla Community Center will discuss the 1974 survey of Cocolalla Lake and lake history along with subsurface sewage disposal.
