Bonner County text announces the first Rodeo Queen coronation at the Sandpoint Elks Club this Saturday. Five contestants Sherry Spear Randy Wilcox Judy Davis Carolyn Monroe and Carolyn Bonser compete in a day of judging from 10 a.m. brunch to 2 p.m. horsemanship at the Bonner County Fairgrounds ending with a 6 p.m. dinner and dance.

Three students who allegedly carried out a bomb threat at Sandpoint Junior High in May were expelled for one year by the Bonner County board at a May 30 hearing.
