New Union Election Ordered By National Labor Board
The National Labor Relations Board set aside a December collective bargaining election at Idaho Supreme Potatoes in Firth and ordered a new vote after Local Union 986 argued the union lacked adequate access to a proper employee list. The board cited Thanksgiving holiday disruption and numerous errors in the eligible employee list, noting two days to use the corrected list was insufficient to reach all workers.
