Spokane Man Cited After Two-Vehicle Collision
Landis D. Kannberg, 21, of Spokane, was cited for driving left of center after a two-vehicle crash about one mile north of Sandpoint on U S 95 at Kootenai Cutoff Road. John L. Kee, 16, of Chaddersford Pennsylvania, drove a hay truck and attempted a left turn. no injuries were reported.

SHS Graduate Injured By Falling Log
Sandpoint youth Brownie Ballison Jr. 18 suffered a broken pelvis in a logging accident at Lightning Creek Tuesday. He was pinned by a falling log while hooking for a heel boom on a crew working for Russell Oliver of Sandpoint. Crews freed him after two hours. Ballison is a 1971 Sandpoint High School graduate and remains in satisfactory condition at Bonner General Hospital.
