Coeur d Alene Girls Injured In Cocolalla Rollover
Two Coeur d Alene girls 19 Jacquelynn Schmidt and Kathryn Kies were injured in a high speed single car rollover on U S 95 near Cocolalla 13 miles south of Sandpoint. Schmidt was treated and released. Kies remained hospitalized with back injuries in satisfactory condition. No citations were issued.

Two Women Plead Not Guilty in Priest River Drug Case
Elizabeth Massing and Cindy Howland were arraigned in district court before Judge Dar Cogswell and entered not guilty pleas. Both were arrested July 11 in Priest River on possession of dangerous drugs charges and released on $5,000 bonds. Bonds were continued at $5,000, with attorney Don Swanstrom moving the trial to the spring term. a January date was hinted for next year.
