Girl 10 Falls From Trestle Creek Rocks Near Kamloops
Beverly Ploegsma a 10 year old Edmonton girl fell about 50 feet to a road from rocks above Trestle Creek while hiking with her father and others. She suffered abrasions contusions and lacerations and was taken by Sandpoint Ambulance to Bonner General Hospital in satisfactory condition. A passing motorist shielded her from more rock and retrieved help. The family thanks the unidentified rescuer and plans her release on Friday.
