Citizens Demand Open Meeting Over County "Undesirables"
A Hailey citizens group called Citizens for a Better Blaine County signed a petition seeking a July 21 session with county officials to discuss an influx of "undesirables." The 70 signers want the county commissioners sheriff attorney magistrate judge and mayors of Bellevue Hailey and Ketchum present to address vagrancy loitering theft and health and drug abuses. The group says the term refers to people living outside who remove metal from buildings for personal use.
