Susan Hanson wed Charles G. Haynes at Saint Josephs Catholic Church on June 3 in Sand Point. Father Otto Schleim officiated with music by Kristine Gro rud. The couple plans to reside in Sand Point until August when the groom enters the U S Air Force.
Navy fireman David A. Darling, son of Charlotte Darling and husband of Ellen Munson of Sandpoint Idaho, reported for duty aboard the USS Midway in the Western Pacific. A 1970 Sandpoint High School graduate, he joined the Navy in May 1970. The Idaho Heart Association notes health risks from cigar smoke.
