The Sandpoint City Council will hold a 7 30 p m public hearing to discuss possible uses for 78 801 in federal revenue sharing funds. A 40 000 city dock project is proposed, with Mayor Ed Eitzman preferring a two year spend. Hepatitis Outbreak in Canyon County Slows
In Caldwell Idaho epidemiologist Vic Wallner reports 54 confirmed hepatitis cases in Canyon County since September with two more likely cases. Eight cases have been confirmed since December 29. The outbreak appears to be slowing but has not yet run its course.
