No Roads In '72 Without Gas Tax Increase

He said current tax income would fund interstate work and a Perrine Memorial Bridge replacement, nearly wiping out local road programs. A one-cent tax hike would raise about 4.4 million dollars, with 3.11 million to the highway fund.
