Oldsters Tax Credit Listed by Idaho Tax Commission
Idaho State Tax Commission announces Senior Citizens aged 65 or older by December 1 1970 are eligible for a refund of unused sales tax credits. Residents of Idaho for all of 1970 who did not use all credits can claim Form 24 by mail mid January 1971 or obtain forms at commission offices banks courthouses and tax practitioners. Approved claims are to be paid in early September 1971.

Parson's Marina in Priest River announced an Open House on Friday and Saturday January 22 and 23. Door prizes include a snowmobile suit boots and helmet. The Dynometer snowmobile tuning device will be displayed for indoor testing and high speed diagnostics. Opening Day discounts range from 75 to 200 dollars on new Ski Doos plus clothing and equipment. Refreshments will be served both days.

Prison Fire Sparks Cellblock Disturbance at Idaho Prison
Fire damaged a mattress in a third floor cell at Idaho State Prison, prompting Boise firefighters to extinguish the blaze in about 15 minutes. Inmates refused to return to cells or work, requiring sheriff deputies to assist. order was restored roughly 30 minutes later.
