Williams Sentenced To 10 Years In Idaho Penitentiary
Sandpoint man Al Williams, 60, was sentenced to 10 years at the Idaho State Penitentiary in Boise after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the October 8, 1970 shooting death of his wife Faye Williams. The charge was reduced from second degree murder after a pre sentencing investigation and trial in Penceatit. Williams maintained the sentence was harsher than expected and noted his age and time remaining. Parole is possible in about 2 1/2 years.
