Special Ed Staffing Grow Reflects New Legislation Impact
Bonner County School District approved a Special Education Report at the Board of Trustees meeting in Sandpoint. The district will fill multiple LD and learning disabilities teaching aide positions across Sagle Priest River Stidwell and Sandpoint schools. Sand Point Names Mrs Huguenin to City Planning Commission

President Ford's State of the Union outline includes a one year $16 billion tax cut with a $12 billion cash rebate and a $4 billion business break, a $16.5 billion cut in future individual taxes, corporate rate relief, and a package of energy conservation taxes totaling about $30 billion. It also calls for no new spending except in energy, a five percent cap on federal program increases, delayed auto pollution rules, expanded home insulation credits, greater coal use, and extended tax credits for insulation and coal.
