Three minority members of Idaho’s Joint Finance Appropriations Committee held a brief meeting in Boise and said they will reconvene Tuesday. Rep. Marion Davidson D Bonners Ferry Rep. Mike Mitchell D Lewiston and James Stoicheff D Sandpoint criticized co chairmen for canceling the pre legislative session hearings arguing the governor’s actions delayed budget testimony before the legislature. The lawmakers noted they acted under Mason's Manual and will notify fiscal officer John Andreas on to arrange further talks.

Boat Motor Stolen On Sunnyside Peninsula
Bonner County authorities report the theft of an 18 horsepower Johnson outboard motor from a trailer house on Sunnyside Peninsula near Spokane. The motor was on a boat parked beside the trailer and a six gallon gas can was also taken. The trailer appears to have been entered. nothing else was reported missing.

Andrus Accused Of Trying To Embarrass GOP
Idaho state Sen. James Ellsworth charged Gov. Cecil Andrus aimed to prolong the upcoming session to embarrass the GOP.
