Northern Lights Inc filed with the Federal Power Commission for a preliminary permit to study a two unit hydroelectric dam at Kootenai Falls four miles east of Troy Montana. The project would generate 140000 kilowatts with underground powerhouse and canal diversion. Engineers Harza and Sewell and Associates are conducting studies.
