Pack 120 Holds Annual Blue and Gold Dinner
Cub Scout Pack 120 of Old Farmin School held its annual Blue and Gold Dinner at the Community Hall in Sandpoint last night awarding Scouts for advancement and recognizing adult leaders for years of service. Ron May announced the awards which were presented by visiting Panhandle Council Executive Bob Gilbert from Osburn Idaho. Tim Sass received Traveler Sportsman Forester and Athlete. Eddie Robinson received Naturalist Forester Athlete Outdoorsman. Mickey McCrum received Athlete. John Major Jr received Travelers Sportsman and Athlete. Mark Hoekema received Athlete Traveler and Scientist. Bear badges went to Richard Welty and David Sass.

Dallas Jury Hears 1000-Year Sentence for Robbery
Dallas jury handed 50 year old Joseph Franklin Sills a 1000 year prison term after convicting him of holding up a dry cleaning store and stealing 73.10. The sentence, cited as possibly the longest in Texas history, drew defense talk of venue changes and trial delays amid Wade's claim of over 200 prior felonies in Sills's record.

School Board Approves Detailed Expansion Plans
