Supervisory Forester Dave Simpson explains timber sale contracts Green Slip Permit Ranger sale and Supervisor sale used by the Sandpoint District. Last year 88 Green Slip Permits and seven Ranger-sized sales moved 5.8 million board feet with about 140 loggers. Three Supervisor sales sold 13 million board feet with roughly 180 loggers.
