The Idaho Senate approved a pay bill 19 to 14 to raise lawmakers compensation above voter approved levels. It adds daily expenses for sessions and home trips, refunds travel at 10 cents per mile up to 10 per day, and provides between session allowances, retroactive to late 1970. The measure targets saving about $280,000 biannually and expands payment limits to avoid session pandemonium.
