The case ties Detroit organized crime figures to a Hughes ownership sale.

Jones Accepts Job At Mountain Home
Superintendent of School District 82 Jack Jones announced his resignation on February 24 and has now accepted the post of Superintendent of Schools in Mountain Home Idaho School District 110. Mountain Home lies south of Boise where he previously led Boundary County schools. His resignation came at a special Board meeting that ran past midnight and he cited personal reasons after 12 years as district leader.

Sandpoint Woman In Single Car Mishap Near City
A Sandpoint woman, Mrs. Francis A. Green, was treated after a minor single car accident just after midnight on L. S. 935 about three miles north of Sandpoint. Deputy Bill Rice reported the Green car struck no other vehicle, caused about 300 dollars in damage after attempting to pass Paul Hansen of Priest River. No citations were issued and Mrs. Green was examined by a local physician.
