Survived by siblings and many nieces nephews Graveside service February 21 at Pinecrest Memorial Park officiated by Chuck Wigton First Christian Church.

Stoner died February 18 in Sandpoint at age 69, born April 25 1907 in Dubuque, Iowa. He married Hilda Mae Vantressé in 1933 and worked as a logger across Western Montana and Northern Idaho.

Foster of the Seattle Air Route Traffic Control Center were honored in Washington, D.C., on February 15, 1977, for guiding a single engine pilot through icing and mountainous terrain over Oregon to a safe Pasco landing. The men used aeronautical charts to chart a path when radar could not track the aircraft, earning FAA Outstanding Flight Assist awards and regional accolades.
