Grange Christmas Party Brightens Westmond Event
Way-Edgemere News reports Grange members held a Christmas party with gift exchange and dinner at Edgemere Hall on Friday night December 17. The Edgemere Grange gathered Sunday afternoon for a ham and scalloped potatoes dinner, songs, and a Santa gift exchange. A chimney fire alarm woke residents early Wednesday. Jerry Hatch called for help and about nine men fought the blaze, causing smoke damage and a wall cutout near the chimney. Rick Peters returned from the Naval Base in California to assist at about 4am.
